Polymer Science and Engineering PhD Program
I have completed my first year of my PhD program and have taken and passed my Comprehensive Exams (COMPS). I worked with understanding reaction kinetics in thermoset networks this past summer in Dr. Derek Patton’s research group, which I successfully joined this semester. I was able to use my past works as an undergraduate as well as my more recent work to secure a National Science Foundation Research Traineeship (NRT) position. I was also able to use my works to apply with a strong application for a NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, which I will hopefully hear good news from in April. I am currently working on a few small projects and planning for my prospectus of research that will lead to my proposal and thesis
