Hello! My name is Connor Hannon, and I am an undergraduate with plans to graduate in 2016 with a B.S. in Biochemistry. I was actually born and raised here in Bloomington, and I’m thinking one day I’ll move out of here eventually! Upon graduation, my goal is to attend medical school to use my powers for good, and not for evil.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, playing with my dog (Samson), and relaxing on the lake. My summers consist of lots of traveling; I’ve been to Mexico four times on mission trips, and this last summer I spent my twelfth consecutive year serving for a week at a camp in Columbus, IN, as a counselor for elementary-age children, among other activities.

In the Dann lab, I work with Mirage Singh, Ph. D., in studying the structure of the human folate receptor (hFR). Certain types of this receptor are overexpressed in cancer cells, making the folate receptor a good target for cytotoxic agents as a means of treatment.
