October 28-30, 2011 – CD3 presented the lab’s research at the Protein Data Bank 40th anniversary symposium at Cold Spring Harbor Labs in New York. The event featured pioneers in X-crystallography and NMR spectroscopy.
October 15, 2011 – The 2nd Annual Watanabe Symposium in Biotechnology is held at Indiana University. This year, the lab served as host for Professor Douglas Rees from Cal Tech for this symposium. This event is held annually at IUB to honor the memory of August Watanabe, a pioneer physician scientist responsible for the development of many pharmaceutical agents that Eli Lilly has developed over the past two decades.
