June 27, 2011 – A somewhat random note – Alex, Soca and CD3 went to Indianapolis to pick up a free liquid nitrogen cooling system (X-STREAM) for crystal cryo-cooling during X-ray data collection. This system, which matches our current cooling systems, will serve as a spare cooling system. It was quite the feat to fit all the components in the back of a Nissan Murano since the department van was unavailable. Thanks Soca and Alex. 🙂
